Learning Communities Research and Practice
An open-access, peer-reviewed journal that provides a forum for faculty, staff, researchers, administrators, and students to share current research, effective practices, critical reflections, and resources related to student learning communities in higher education. LCRP is published twice a year in May and November. Submission deadlines are January 15 and July 15.
These networks and consortiums offer opportunities to connect with peers at nearby institutions as well as cost-effective professional development opportunities at regional retreats.
Designing Integrative/Interdisciplinary Assignments
LCs provide students with explicit opportunities to engage in integrative and/or interdisciplinary learning. As a field, we’ve become much more intentional and deliberate about how to do this.
Send questions about learning community practice or startup to this community of over 700 learning communities practitioners from across the country.
