Health & Safety

After a two-year pandemic-induced hiatus, we are thrilled to invite campus teams to join us on the Evergreen State College's beautiful campus for the Washington Center's 23rd annual National Summer Institute for Improving Undergraduate Education. The work you will do at the summer institute will be targeted towards creating change on your campus in support of student success. Your ability to lead that change is critical. That’s why we’ve taken health and safety as a crucial consideration in our planning. Be assured that we will adhere to the current CDC guidelines for small and large gatherings to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission for every part of the institute.  In-person attendees will be required to comply with current health guidance from Washington State and Evergreen State College, which may include wearing a face covering while inside. If there is anything we can do to support your health and safety, please contact us.

Vaccination will be required

To protect you and our community, all in-person attendees must be fully vaccinated at least two weeks prior to arrival and will be required to submit proof of vaccination status prior to the start of the institute.
