Inclusion of Learning Communities in California’s Student Success Initiatives
Promoting Institutional Support for Learning Communities Programs, their Students, and Faculty
University of La Verne
October 19, 2018
The University of La Verne is hosting the CLCC - LCP Coordinators’ and Leaders’ meeting this coming fall semester. Over a decade, the LCP coordinator/leadership meetings have provided peer and professional support to member institutions that offer learning communities on their campuses. Whether campus leaders are beginning to develop LCs or have become LC veterans, attendance connects you with colleagues who have a vested, long-term interest in the viability and success of LCs. Four-year colleges and universities and California Community Colleges are partners in offering all college-age students the best possible educational access and opportunities for success.
The CLCC strongly believes that learning communities, when combined with other institutional partners, are essential elements in supporting student access and success. This coordinators’ meeting will focus on strategies to include LCs in current student completion and academic success initiatives. Please join us!
Registration and program materials will be available by mid-August.
